For this Recovery Tutorial, I am going to flash China Stable ROM to the latest China Developer Rom.

NOTE: Only one exception, for China Stable - China Developer ROM, you can use Updater App to flash recovery ROM but not the other way round. eg. China Developer - China Stable ROM, as the latest or newer ROM applies here. For Global Stable - Global Developer ROM it is not possible due to the fact tht it is of different Android version. While, for the case of flashing other ROMs of the same variant is possible but keep in mind it will not flash backward builds. It has to be flash from an older to later ROM build, or else you will get Can't Verify Error or Illegal Errors.

  • It is advisable to do at a Local Backup to safeguard your personal data. Check RELATED THREADS for Backup & Restore tips.
